How to Adjust the Speed Limit on Your BURCHDA E-Bike Display？

If you need to adjust the speed limit setting on your BURCHDA e-bike, please follow the instructions below according to your display type.

Please check your display model before making any adjustments.
The setting method is different for KD926 displays (dual motor models) and YL-81F displays (single motor models).

KD926 Display

(For Dual Motor Models)

Step 1: Enter the settings menu

  1. Press and hold the + and - buttons at the same time until the settings menu appears.
  2. Then press and hold the i button and - button together to enter the advanced settings menu.

Step 2: Adjust the speed limit

  1. Press the i button repeatedly until you reach the "LS" (Speed Limit) setting.
  2. Press the + or - button to adjust the speed limit value.

Step 3: Save the setting

Once you have selected your preferred speed limit:

  • Press and hold the i button to save the setting and exit the menu.

The speed limit can be adjusted down to 15.5 mph (approximately 25 km/h).

A maximum assisted speed of 15.5 mph (25 km/h) is commonly used to meet the speed requirement for electric bicycles on public roads in many regions, including the UK. Please always check your local regulations before riding.

YL-81F Display

(For Single Motor Models)

Step 1: Enter the settings menu

  1. Press and hold the + and - buttons together to open the settings menu.
  2. Press and hold the + and - buttons together again to enter the password screen.

Step 2: Enter the password

  1. Enter the password: 2847
  2. Use the + or - buttons to change each number.
  3. Press the i button to move to the next digit.
  4. After entering the correct password, you will enter the speed limit setting page.

Step 3: Adjust the speed limit

  1. Press the i button once.
  2. The speed value at the bottom of the display will start flashing.
  3. Press or hold the + button to adjust the speed limit.

Step 4: Save the setting

  • Press and hold the i button again to save the changes and exit.

The speed limit can be adjusted down to 15.5 mph (approximately 25 km/h).

This speed setting is commonly used for electric bicycles intended for public road use in regions such as the UK. Please ensure your bike configuration meets all local legal requirements.
